The Chancel Choir serves on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at the 10:30 am worship service and also for special services and programs, including Baptisms.

The Chancel Choir sings by invitation, only if there is no activity at Mt. Horeb. The choir has a standing invitation to sing a concert for Faith Baptist Church of D.C.

The Chancel Choir outreach ministry includes singing at Nursing Homes, Hospitals and Private Homes to serve the sick and shut-in, sending get-well cards and accompanying Deacons when serving communion to shut-ins.

There are 37 members in the Chancel Choir. Rehearsals are Mondays at 7:30p.m. to 9:00p.m.

The Choir's motto is: "To serve the Lord at all times, not be served".
