"PSALM
92:1-4"
The
Psalmist knew that the habit of giving thanks to the Lord
was good. For us to be thankful brings joy to the
heart of God our Father. For us to develop the habit
of being thankful will enable us to overcome negative feelings
and will lead us to face life with a positive attitude.
For us to be thankful will be a blessing to others.
It is indeed a good thing to give thanks to the Lord.
It
is good for us to give thanks to God for being the kind
of God He is. We should be thankful to God for the
fellowship of the Church. Through the Church, we have
heard the good news of God's love. In the fellowship
of the Church, we receive the strength we need for living
a victorious life. We should give thanks to God for
our country and for all good men and women who live and
work to make it an even better country. We should
give thanks to God for the members of our family who have
sustained us and now help to give us a reason for being.
It is a good thing to give thanks to God for all the good
things in life.
Let
us thank God for His many gifts to us through people.
We should express gratitude for our parents, for our companions
and for our friends. Jesus Christ died for our sins.
Only Jesus Christ has conquered death for us. Only
through Jesus Christ are we offered forgiveness.
Only
through Jesus Christ do we find the doorway into heaven.
Let us thank God for all of His goodness to us.
